1.  Introduction

Insight Investigations Pty Ltd (“Insight”) is committed to conducting its business ethically and responsibly, with respect for human rights and the prevention of modern slavery and human trafficking. The organisation recognises the importance of transparency and accountability in its operations and supply chain.

This statement is published on a voluntary basis in alignment with the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth). Insight is not currently a reporting entity under the Act.

2.  Structure, Operations and Supply Chain

Insight Investigations Pty Ltd is an Australian-based professional services firm specialising in workplace investigations, safeguarding and reportable conduct matters, mediation, and advisory services.

The business is led by a Director and engages a small number of licensed investigators as independent contractors. Operations are primarily conducted within Australia.

The supply chain is limited and consists mainly of service providers, including:

•  Independent investigators engaged within Australia

•  Professional transcription services

•  Information technology, telecommunications, and cloud-based software providers

•  Office and administrative service suppliers

Insight does not manufacture or supply physical goods and does not use overseas labour brokers or offshore recruitment agencies.

3.  Risk Assessment

Given the nature and scale of its operations, Insight considers the overall risk of modern slavery within its direct operations and immediate supply chain to be low.

Potential areas of indirect risk may include third-party service providers that rely on subcontracted or offshore labour, particularly in technology or transcription services.

4.  Actions to Address Risk

Insight takes practical steps to identify and manage modern slavery risks, including:

•  Engaging suppliers and contractors who operate under Australian workplace and labour laws wherever possible

•  Using written agreements that require lawful and ethical engagement of workers

•  Direct engagement and verification of investigators, including right-to-work and professional licensing checks

•  Periodic review of supplier and contractor arrangements, particularly where subcontracting or offshore services may be involved

5.  Training and Awareness

The Director and contractors are provided with guidance on ethical conduct, legal compliance, and recognising indicators of modern slavery, including coercion, unlawful recruitment practices, and exploitation.

6.  Reporting and Response

Insight has not identified any instances of modern slavery within its operations or supply chain.

If a concern were identified, Insight would take appropriate action, including:

•  Suspending engagement with the relevant supplier or contractor

•  Reviewing the circumstances and associated risks

•  Reporting the matter to relevant authorities where required

•  Implementing corrective measures and strengthening controls to reduce future risk

7.  Review

This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as required to reflect changes in Insight’s operations, supply chain, or regulatory environment.

8.  Approval

This statement has been approved by the Director of Insight Investigations Pty Ltd.
